The newcomers have arrived!

On Wednesday, July 12, the Otsego Refugee Resettlement Coalition welcomed two newcomers to Oneonta. One is from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the other from Burundi. The Coalition has secured an apartment for them with the funds it has received from individual donors. The Coalition has also furnished the apartment with donated items from the wider community and stocked their kitchen with familiar food items from Africa. The Coalition looks forward to helping the refugees feel comfortable in their home as they join our community.
